MEET OUR STAFF
We have some of the most experienced skydiving personnel in the state of Kansas with a combined total of more than 180 years of skydiving experience and well over 16,000 combined jumps.
Martin Myrtle - Drop Zone Owner/Instructor/Pilot
Martin made his first static line jump in 1990. Martin has made over 5000 tandem skydives, with over 6000 jumps total. Martin started working with students in 1995, and now holds USPA Tandem, Tandem Instructor Examiner, Static Line, IAD Instructor and IAD Instructor Examiner ratings. Martin also holds a Professional Exhibition Rating and jumps multiple demonstrations for local events each year. In 2002 Martin participated in an Iowa state record 43-way formation skydive, and in 2003 was in a 60-way formation. Martin holds a private pilot certificate. Martin is a Master Electrician, and retired young from the Wichita Public Schools where he worked for over 33 years. He's also father to a couple of awesome young men.
Willie Sinsel - Instructor/Pilot
Willie made his first skydive in December of 1997. He has made about 3500 skydives, holds a USPA IAD Instructor rating, and is a USPA Safety and Training Advisor. He has over 2200 pilot hours with multi engine and instrument ratings, is a commercial pilot and Certified Flight Instructor, and aircraft owner. He is an FAA certificated Senior Parachute Rigger, and a former drop zone owner. When not at the DZ, he is likely out flying, hunting, or working on the endless list of projects at home. Willie owns and operates a full service auto and truck repair shop and parts store in Belle Plaine, Kansas. He has operated that business for more than 35 years.
Mark Follin - Instructor
Mark made his first skydive in 1990, and first instructional rating in 1994. He earned his Tandem Instructors Rating in 1999, and now has over 4000 total skydives.
Mike Russell - Instructor
Mike made his first jump with Air Capital Drop Zone in October 2002. Mike now has over 900 jumps, and he earned his USPA Instructor rating in July of 2006. Mike is a father and actually moved to Rose Hill for the shorter commute to his weekend home at AC DZ.
Scott Thompson - Instructor
Scott made his first Skydive with us and has now progressed to the point that, as an IAD Instructor, he's teaching new students!
Jessica Callahan - Coach
Jessica made her first skydive while in the Navy and stationed at San Diego. After discharge she returned home to Hooker Oklahoma, and found her way to Air Capital Drop Zone. Jessica now has in excess of 450 skydives, and is a USPA Coach! Jessica is mother to two beautiful daughters: one sweet as can be teenager Zoe, and one tough as nails middle schooler Ohara.

Kent Myrtle- Packer/Video Editor
Kent loved spending time as a young child at the DZ, but grew away from it. He's now back on staff in the paid position of parachute packer and chief video editor. Kent is a student at WSU studying to become a teacher This young man is destined for big things in life!
Wade Myrtle, Packer
Wade is on staff as a parachute packer. Wade grew up on the DZ hanging out with his dad and the skydivers. He's evolved from "Small People Ambassador", Ground Guide leading out parents and friends to the landing area and answering questions to parachute packer. Wade attends the NIAR WORKS program at WSU working toward a bachelors degree and an FAA Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic's Certification.
